And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I hope in Your ordinances.

For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging what is right.

When He was reviled, He did not revile back; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but He entrusted Himself to Him who judges righteously.

In Him you also, after hearing the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and after believing in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

Let my soul live that it may praise You, and let Your ordinances help me.

Of His own will He brought us forth with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

I have remembered Your judgments of old, O  Lord, and I take comfort.

With my lips have I declared all the ordinances of Your mouth.

My flesh trembles for fear of You, and I am afraid of Your judgments.

But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant on your lips?

Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly people; deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!

The Lord is known by the judgment that He executes; the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion.   Selah

As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says the Lord: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your descendants, nor out of the mouth of your descendants’ descendants, says the Lord, from this time forth and forever.

Those who fear You will be glad when they see me, because I have hoped in Your word.

My soul languishes for Your salvation, but I hope in Your word.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.

I rise before the dawning of the morning and cry for help; I hope in Your word.
