I rise before the dawning of the morning and cry for help; I hope in Your word.
Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn!
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I hope in Your ordinances.
Those who fear You will be glad when they see me, because I have hoped in Your word.
My soul languishes for Your salvation, but I hope in Your word.
For You meet him with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of pure gold on his head.
The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song will be with me, a prayer to the God of my life.
O Lord, in the morning You will hear my voice; in the morning I will direct my prayer to You, and I will look up expectantly.
In God, whose word I praise, in God have I put my trust; I will not fear. What can mere flesh do to me?
Awake, my glory! Awake, psaltery and harp! I will awaken the dawn.
But to You have I cried out, O Lord, and in the morning my prayer comes before You.
Let my prayer come before You; incline Your ear to my cry.
With my soul I have desired You in the night; my spirit within me seeks You diligently; for when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
In the morning, rising up a great while before sunrise, He went out and departed to a solitary place. And there He prayed.
