I rise before the dawning of the morning and cry for help; I hope in Your word.

Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn!

And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I hope in Your ordinances.

Those who fear You will be glad when they see me, because I have hoped in Your word.

My soul languishes for Your salvation, but I hope in Your word.

For You meet him with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of pure gold on his head.

The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song will be with me, a prayer to the God of my life.

O  Lord, in the morning You will hear my voice; in the morning I will direct my prayer to You, and I will look up expectantly.

In God, whose word I praise, in God have I put my trust; I will not fear. What can mere flesh do to me?

Awake, my glory! Awake, psaltery and harp! I will awaken the dawn.

But to You have I cried out, O  Lord, and in the morning my prayer comes before You.

Let my prayer come before You; incline Your ear to my cry.

With my soul I have desired You in the night; my spirit within me seeks You diligently; for when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

In the morning, rising up a great while before sunrise, He went out and departed to a solitary place. And there He prayed.
