A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes merry, but money resolves everything.

Who is like a wise man? And who knows the interpretation of a matter? A person’s wisdom makes his face shine, and the harshness of his face is softened.

Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already accepted your works.

For behold, the Lord, the Lord of Hosts, takes away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stock and the store, the whole supply of bread, and the whole supply of water;

For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there but water the earth and make it bring forth and bud that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,

Therefore they will come and sing in the height of Zion, and will be joyful over the goodness of the Lord, for wheat and for wine and for oil and for the young of the flock and of the herd; and their souls will be as a watered garden. And they will not sorrow any more at all.

Son of man, when the land sins against Me by trespassing grievously, then I will stretch out My hand against it, and break the staff of the bread, and send famine against it, and cut off man and beast from it.

Moreover He said to me, “Son of man, behold, I will cut off the supply of bread in Jerusalem. They shall eat bread by weight and with anxiety and drink water by measure and with horror,

When I send upon them the deadly arrows of famine which shall be for their destruction and which I will send to destroy you, then I will also increase the famine upon you and break your staff of bread.

When I have broken the supply of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall ration your bread again by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied.

Then Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their hearts shall rejoice as with wine. Their children shall see this and be glad; their hearts shall rejoice in the Lord.

Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them. And they all drank from it.

You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with ointment.

Do not be drunk with wine, for that is reckless living. But be filled with the Spirit.

You will have olive trees throughout all your coasts, but you will not anoint yourself with the oil, for your olive will drop off.

He humbled you and let you suffer hunger, and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

On the fourth day they woke up early in the morning. He got ready to go, but the girl’s father said to his son-in-law, “Strengthen yourself with a little food, and then you can go.”

“Yet the grapevine said to them, ‘Should I stop making my fresh wine, which cheers God and men, to go and sway over the trees?’

“Yet the olive tree said to them, ‘Should I stop making oil, by which God and men are honored, to go and sway over the trees?’
