O  Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the thoughts and intentions of the heart of Your people and direct their heart to You.

The plans of the heart belong to man, but the reply of the tongue is from the Lord.

Before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Likewise you younger ones, submit yourselves to the elders. Yes, all of you be submissive one to another and clothe yourselves with humility, because “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
