If you sin, what do you accomplish against Him? Or if your transgressions are multiplied, what does it do to Him?

How much more severe a punishment do you suppose he deserves, who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded the blood of the covenant that sanctified him to be a common thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
