The mouth of an immoral woman is a deep pit; he who is under the wrath of the Lord will fall into it.

Why should you, my son, be intoxicated by an adulteress, and embrace the bosom of a wayward woman?

For the lips of an adulteress drip as honey, and her speech is smoother than oil,

to keep you from the evil woman, from the flattering tongue of an adulteress.

With her enticing speech she led him astray; with her flattering lips she seduced him.

Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call understanding your kin,

For at the window of my house I looked out through my lattice,
