that you may regard discretion, and that your lips may keep knowledge.

With my lips have I declared all the ordinances of Your mouth.

You are fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured upon your lips; therefore God has blessed you forever.

My mouth will tell of Your righteousness and of Your salvation all the day, for I do not know their extent.

The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of wisdom.

The tongue of the wise uses knowledge aright, but the mouth of fools pours out folly.

The lips of the wise disperse knowledge, but not so the heart of fools.

The heart of the wise guides his mouth, and adds learning to his lips.

There is gold and a multitude of rubies, but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

My son, let them not depart from your sight; keep sound wisdom and discretion,

Your lips drip sweet honey, my bride. Honey and milk are under your tongue; the fragrance of your clothing is like the fragrance of Lebanon.
