let him drink and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
because you will forget misery, and remember it as waters that pass away,
and wine that makes glad the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread which strengthens man’s heart.
Give strong drink to him who is perishing, and wine to those who are bitter in soul;
Speak out for the mute, for the cause of all who are sons of destitution.
Do not be drunk with wine, for that is reckless living. But be filled with the Spirit.
