so is the man who deceives his neighbor, and says, “I am only joking!”
Doing evil is like sport to a fool; so is wisdom to a man of understanding.
Fools mock at atoning for sin, but among the upright there is good will.
Folly is joy to him who is destitute of discernment, but a man of understanding walks uprightly.
Be not a witness against your neighbor without cause, and deceive not with your lips.
Let there be no filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse joking, which are not fitting. Instead, give thanks.
They shall receive the wages of unrighteousness. They count it a pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes who revel in their own deception while they carouse together with you.
