O daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet and jewels, who adorned your garments with gold jewelry.

The gold and the crystal cannot equal it, and it cannot be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.

A fool spurns the instruction of his father, but he who heeds reproof is prudent.

The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both.

Do not reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you.

It is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to listen to the song of fools.

I put a jewel on your forehead, and earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things. And an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
