You will strike him with the rod, and save his soul from Sheol.

He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him disciplines him diligently.

Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of correction will drive it far from him.

But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, so that we would not be condemned with the world.

deliver him to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that the spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord Jesus.
