Proverbs 23:13

Withhold not discipline from a child; if you strike him with the rod, he will not die.

He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him disciplines him diligently.

Discipline your son while there is hope; do not be a willing party to his death.

Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of correction will drive it far from him.

Apply your heart to instruction, and your ears to words of knowledge.

The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother.

Correct your son, and he will give you rest; he will give delight to your soul.

Endure discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there whom a father does not discipline?
