Just like I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble, reap the same.

For the scepter of the wicked shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous put forth their hands to do wrong.

Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

From the mouth of a fool comes a rod for his back, but the lips of the wise will preserve them.

For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and My anger will be directed to their destruction.

Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger and the staff in whose hand is My indignation.

You have plowed wickedness. You have reaped iniquity, and you have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your power and in the numbers of your warriors,

For they sow the wind, and they will reap the whirlwind. The standing grain has no head and will yield no flour. If it were to yield, foreigners would swallow it up.
