Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.

Wealth gained by fraud will dwindle, but he who gathers by hand will increase it.

“It is no good, it is no good,” says the buyer, but when he goes his way, then he boasts.

An inheritance gained at the beginning will not be blessed at the end.

He who sows injustice will reap iniquity, and the rod of his wrath will disappear.

Remove far from me falsehood and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with my daily bread,

but he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.”

As the partridge sits on eggs which it has not laid, so is he who gets riches, but not justly; it will forsake him in the midst of his days, and in the end he will be a fool.

Cast away from you all your transgressions whereby you have transgressed, and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why will you die, O house of Israel?

who must be silenced, who subvert whole houses by teaching for dishonest gain things they ought not teach.

And in their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. Their judgment, made long ago, does not linger, and their destruction does not slumber.
