It is not good to favor the wicked, to subvert the righteous in judgment.

Yet He is not partial to princes, nor does He regard the rich more than the poor. For they all are the work of His hands.

“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked?    Selah

You must not follow the masses to do evil, and do not testify in a dispute that agrees with the crowd to pervert justice.

You must not show partiality to a poor man in his dispute.

You shall not turn justice away from your poor in his dispute.

He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the just, both are abominations to the Lord.

To punish the righteous is not good, nor to strike princes for their integrity.

These also are sayings of the wise: It is not good to show partiality in judgment.

To show partiality is not good, but for a piece of bread will a man transgress.

lest they drink and forget the law, and pervert the justice of all the afflicted.

who justify the wicked for a reward, and take away the justice of the righteous from him!

Justice is turned backward, and righteousness stands far off; for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

You shall do no unrighteousness in a court. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person who is great, but in righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.

Please hear this, heads of the house of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel, who detest justice and warp all that is straight,

Both hands are upon evil, to do it well. The prince and the judge request the bribe, the powerful asserts the craving of his very soul— they intertwine together.

They sent their disciples to Him with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God truthfully, and are swayed by no one. For You do not regard the person of men.

You must not pervert judgment nor show partiality. You must not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.
