Better is the poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is perverse in his ways.

Better is a full hand of quietness than handfuls of toil and a chasing after wind.

As the partridge sits on eggs which it has not laid, so is he who gets riches, but not justly; it will forsake him in the midst of his days, and in the end he will be a fool.

Are there still in the house of the wicked treasures of wickedness? And the short ephah which is accursed?
