Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished.
look on everyone who is proud and bring him low, and tread down the wicked in their place.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold guiltless anyone who takes His name in vain.
Be assured, the wicked will not go unpunished, but the sons of the righteous will be delivered.
The Lord works out all things for Himself, even the wicked for the day of evil.
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged, and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.
So is he who goes in to his neighbor’s wife; whoever touches her will not be innocent.
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and perverse speech do I hate.
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
For the day of the Lord of Hosts shall be upon everything that is proud and lofty, and upon everything that is lifted up, and it shall be brought low;
Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Hear and give heed; do not be proud, for the Lord has spoken.
But He gives more grace. For this reason it says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
