The appetite of a laborer works for him; his hunger urges him on.

All the labor of a person is for his mouth, to fill his stomach, but his appetite is not filled.

In all toil there is profit, but idle chatter of the lips leads only to poverty.

If you are wise, you are wise for yourself; if you scoff, you alone will bear it.
