Better is a meal of herbs where love is than a fattened calf with hatred.
Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without justice.
Better is a dry crust with quietness than a house full of feasting with strife.
It is better to live in the wilderness, than with a quarrelsome and angry wife.
Better is a full hand of quietness than handfuls of toil and a chasing after wind.
“Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited: See, I have prepared my supper. My oxen and fattened calves are killed, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
Bring here the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and be merry.
If there is any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any compassion and mercy,
And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
