A true witness saves souls, but a false witness utters lies.

A truthful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies.

Know this first, that there shall come scoffers in the last days who walk after their own lusts,

testifying to both Jews and Greeks of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

As the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, so he who wins souls is wise.

A truthful witness tells what is right, but a false witness, deceit.

A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will not escape.
