A man is not established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous will not be moved.
He will not be rich, nor will his wealth continue, nor will his possessions spread over the earth.
he who does not put his money out to usury, nor takes a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be moved.
When the tempest passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous stands firm forever.
The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way, but the wicked will fall by his own wickedness.
The wicked covet the plunder of evil men, but the root of the righteous yields fruit.
No person has power over the wind to restrain it, or power over the day of death. No one is discharged from war, nor will wickedness release those who practice.
and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, just as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
And blessed is your discretion, and blessed are you who have kept me this day from coming to shed blood and from avenging myself with my own hand.
