Accordingly, it is my earnest expectation and my hope that I shall be ashamed in nothing, but that with all boldness as always, so now also, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death.

When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.

I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service of worship.

And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Do not yield your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but yield yourselves to God, as those who are alive from the dead, and your bodies to God as instruments of righteousness.

I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for just as you have yielded your members as slaves to impurity and iniquity leading to more iniquity, even so now yield your members as slaves to righteousness unto holiness.

The eager expectation of the creation waits for the appearance of the sons of God.

As it is written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, and whoever believes in Him will not be ashamed.”

I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

You were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

There is a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

For even if I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord has given us for edification and not for your destruction, I shall not be ashamed,

Seeing then that we have such hope, we speak with great boldness,

and always carrying around in the body the death of the Lord Jesus, that also the life of Jesus might be expressed in our bodies.

And He died for all, that those who live should not from now on live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

So I am not ashamed if I have boasted of anything to him regarding you. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, even our boasting in the presence of Titus is found to be true.

Great is my boldness of speech toward you; great is my boasting of you. I am filled with comfort, and I am exceedingly joyful in all our tribulation.

And a great many of the brothers in the Lord, having become confident because of my incarcerations, have dared to speak the word without fear.

Yes, and even if I am offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I take delight and rejoice with you all.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake and fill up in my flesh that which is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church.

May the very God of peace sanctify you completely. And I pray to God that your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God because of it.

And now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him when He comes.
