For the ear tests words, as the mouth tastes food.

You who hate good and love evil, who tear the skin from My people and the flesh from their bones;

But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things that are of God, but those that are of men.”

Peter answered, “Though all men will fall away on account of You, yet I will never fall away.”

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him and said concerning him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”

For everyone who does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

In this do I always strive to have a clear conscience toward God and toward men.

Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and complete will of God.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Hate what is evil. Cling to what is good.

Now I urge you, brothers, to closely watch those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the teaching which you have learned, and avoid them.

You know His will and approve the things that are more excellent, because you are instructed in the law.

But if I practice what I do not will to do, I agree with the law that it is good.

For I delight in the law of God according to the inner man,

for the carnal mind is hostile toward God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be,

He will strengthen you to the end, so that you may be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Give no offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God,

Therefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I cause my brother to stumble.

For our rejoicing is this: The testimony of our conscience is that we conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you, in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God.

For we are not as many are who peddle the word of God. Instead, being sent by God, we sincerely speak in Christ in the sight of God.

We give no offense in anything, that our service may not be blamed.

I say this not as a command, but to prove through the authenticity of others, the sincerity also of your love.

Brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased.

But, speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into Him, who is the head, Christ Himself,

proving what is pleasing to the Lord.

and that He might present to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

The former preach Christ out of contention, not sincerely, intending to add trouble to my circumstance.

I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Hold forth the word of life that I may rejoice on the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

To this end may He establish your hearts to be blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

Examine all things. Firmly hold onto what is good.

May the very God of peace sanctify you completely. And I pray to God that your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Now fear the Lord, and serve Him with sincerity and faithfulness. Put away the gods your fathers served beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

I know your works, your labor and your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles, but are not, and have found them to be liars.
