It will not be necessary for you to fight in this conflict. Take your positions, stand, and observe the deliverance of the Lord for you, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be filled with terror. Tomorrow, go out before them, and the Lord will be with you.”

The secret counsel of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will make His covenant known to them.

Then Moses said to his father-in-law, “Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

You shall speak My words to them, whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.

Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel. Whenever you hear the word from My mouth, then warn them from Me.

And they put him in custody, so that the words of the Lord might be shown to them.

They put him in confinement because it was not declared what should be done to him.

Moses brought their case before the Lord.

And those men said to him, “We are defiled by the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the Lord at its appointed time among the Israelites?”

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

For I have given them the words which You gave Me. They have received them and certainly know that I came from You, and they have believed that You sent Me.

If any man desires to do His will, he shall know whether the teaching is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.

For I did not keep from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus, on the night in which He was betrayed, took bread.

For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this. But He who judges me is the Lord.
