These are the journeys of the Israelites, who went out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
He sent Moses, His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.
You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Then the Israelites journeyed from Rameses to Sukkoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides children.
And at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, on the very day, all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.
And that same day the Lord brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.
So God led the people around, by way of the wilderness to the Red Sea. And the Israelites went up, ready for battle, out of the land of Egypt.
It was this same Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said, “Bring out the Israelites from the land of Egypt according to their armies.”
For I have brought you up from the land of Egypt, and from the house of slaves I have redeemed you; and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
Moses recorded the starting points of their journeys at the command of the Lord. These are their journeys according to their starting points.
“I sent Moses and Aaron, I struck Egypt down with all I did in their midst, and afterward I brought you out.
“When Jacob went into Egypt and your fathers cried out to the Lord, the Lord sent Moses and Aaron who brought forth your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in this place.
