When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I am giving to you for a possession, and I put a leprous disease in a house of the land of your possession,
Moses gave to the Gadites, to the Reubenites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land with the cities within the borders, the cities of the surrounding land.
These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel on the other side of the Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel and Laban and Hazeroth and Dizahab.
This is the land which we possessed at that time from Aroer, which is by the River Arnon, and half the hill country of Gilead and its cities I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites.
These are the kings on the east side of the Jordan, from the River Arnon to Mount Hermon and all the eastern Arabah, whom the Israelites struck down to take over their land:
Moses the servant of the Lord and the Israelites struck them down, and the servant of the Lord Moses gave their land to Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
