Numbers 30:2

Modern English Version

If a man vows a vow to the Lord, or swears an oath to bind himself with a bond, he will not break his word. He will do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

At the end of two months she returned to her father, and he did to her according to the vow that he had made. She had not ever slept with a man. So it became a custom in Israel
