These are the sons of Benjamin by their families, and by their count: forty-five thousand six hundred.

The sons of Benjamin were Bela, Beker, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim, and Ard.

The sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites; and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.

These are the sons of Dan according to their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.

That day, the Benjamites mustered twenty-six thousand armed men from the cities and seven hundred specially chosen men from Gibeah.
