Moses was very angry and said to the Lord, “Do not respect their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them, nor have I hurt one of them.”

For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and I have not become guilty against my God.

As soon as he came near the camp, he saw the calf and the dancing, and Moses’ anger burned, so he threw the tablets from his hands and shattered them at the bottom of the mountain.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination; how much more when he brings it with evil intent!

(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all the men on the face of the earth.)

Moses said to Korah, “You and all your company be before the Lord, you and them and Aaron, tomorrow.

But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ shall be in danger of the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be in danger of the hell of fire.

When He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch your hand forward.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.

But I have used none of these rights, nor have I written these things that it should be so done to me. For it would be better for me to die than allow anyone to make my boasting void.

For our rejoicing is this: The testimony of our conscience is that we conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you, in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God.

Accept us. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, and we have defrauded no one.

Be angry but do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your anger.

You and God are witnesses of how pure, upright, and blameless we ourselves behaved among you who believe.
