Speak to the Israelites, and say to them: When you come into the land of your dwelling, which I am giving to you,

If the first portion of the dough is holy, the batch is also holy. And if the root is holy, so are the branches.

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

then it will be, when you eat of the bread of the land you will offer up an offering to the Lord.
