You will appoint Aaron and his sons, and they will attend to their priesthood, and the foreigner that approaches will be put to death.

But those who were to camp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tent of meeting on the east side, were Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the guard of the sanctuary for the guard of the Israelites, and the foreigner who approached was to be put to death.

Then He struck the men of Beth-shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the Lord. He struck fifty thousand and seventy men. And the people lamented, because the Lord had struck the people with a great slaughter.
