So Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread and a skin of water and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and sent her away with the child. So she departed and wandered in the Wilderness of Beer-sheba.

These were the sons of Ishmael, and these were their names, by their towns and their settlements, twelve princes according to their peoples.

I will again bring a conqueror to you, inhabitants of Mareshah; the glory of Israel will come to Adullam.

So King Adoni-Zedek of Jerusalem sent this message to King Hoham of Hebron, King Piram of Jarmuth, King Japhia of Lachish, and King Debir of Eglon:

the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;

The border rises to the Valley of Ben-hinnom, to the southern slope of the Jebusites (that is, Jerusalem), then rises to the top of the hill west of the Valley of Ben-hinnom, at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim.

The border then descends to the foot of the mountain that lies by the Valley of Ben-hinnom, which is at the north end of the Valley of Rephaim. It descends from the Hinnom Valley to the slope of the Jebusites, then down to En-rogel.
