Then each man will sit under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one will make them afraid; for the mouth of the Lord of Hosts has spoken.

Judah and Israel lived safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan to Beer-sheba all the days of Solomon.

So know that I plan to build a house to honor the name of the Lord my God, just as the Lord spoke to my father David, saying, ‘Your son, whom I will set on your throne after you, shall build a house to honor My name.’

Also you will lie down, and none will make you afraid; yes, many will court your favor.

May the mountains bring peace to the people, and the hills, in righteousness.

The work of righteousness shall be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.

then the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.”

In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you.

then you shall delight yourself in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Jacob your father. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

I will also set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they will fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor will they be missing, says the Lord.

Therefore do not fear, O My servant Jacob, says the Lord, nor be dismayed, O Israel; for behold, I will save you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity. And Jacob shall return and shall be in rest and be quiet, and no one shall make him afraid.

I will make with them a covenant of peace and will cause the wild beasts to cease from the land so that they dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

They shall no more be a prey to the nations, nor shall the beast of the land devour them. But they shall dwell safely and no one shall make them afraid.

and you shall say, “I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls and having neither bars nor gates,”

They shall forget their shame and all their trespasses by which they have trespassed against Me when they lived safely in their land and no one made them afraid.

I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down for sleep, and none shall make you afraid; I will remove harmful beasts from the land, and the sword shall not go through your land.

Therefore He will give them up, until the time when she who is in labor has given birth, and the rest of his brothers will return to the Israelites.

The remnant of Israel will do no unrighteousness, nor speak lies; nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they will feed and lie down, and no one will make them afraid.

“On that day, says the Lord of Hosts, each of you will invite your companion to come and sit under the vine and under the fig tree.”
