The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

And behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same regions and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David. My daughter is severely possessed by a demon.”

“Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers terribly. He often falls into the fire and often into the water.

As they departed from Jericho, a large crowd followed Him.

But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were extremely displeased

The crowds that went before Him and that followed Him cried out: “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Hosanna in the highest!”

When He entered the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is coming in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

Often it has thrown him into the fire and into the water to kill him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

They lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”

Then Jesus said to them, “How do they say that Christ is David’s Son?

In that same hour He cured many of their infirmities and afflictions and evil spirits. And to many who were blind He gave sight.

Has the Scripture not said that the Christ comes from the seed of David, out of the town of Bethlehem where David was?”

concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh

to whom belong the patriarchs, and from whom, according to the flesh, is Christ, who is over all, God forever blessed. Amen.
