For when there is an abundance of dreams and futilities, then words increase too. Therefore it is God you should fear.

If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

He went a little farther, and falling on His face, He prayed, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

So leaving them again, He went away and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

But when they learned that he was a Jew, for about two hours they all with one voice cried out, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”
