Matthew 5:19

Whoever, therefore, breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore I esteem all Your precepts to be right; I hate every false way.

Then I shall not be ashamed, when I look upon all Your commandments.

Those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who turn the many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.

Truly I say to you, among those who are born of women, there has risen no one greater than John the Baptist. But he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”

The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, concerning all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Why not rather say, “Let us do evil that good may come,” as we are slanderously accused and as some claim that we say? Their condemnation is just.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may increase?

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? God forbid!

Whatever I command you, be careful to do it. You shall not add to it or take away from it.

“Cursed is he who does not confirm all the words of this law by doing them.” And all the people shall say, “Amen.”

But you, O man of God, escape these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.

This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you constantly to affirm, so that those who have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to everyone.

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of glory that will not fade away.

Whoever practices sin breaks the law, for sin is lawlessness.

“But I have a few things against you: You permit that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat food sacrificed to idols.

“Therefore the Lord God of Israel says, ‘I surely said that your house, and the house of your father, should walk before Me forever,’ but now the Lord says, ‘Far be it from Me to do so, for those who honor Me, I will honor, and those that despise Me will be humbled.
