Matthew 26:18

He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, My time is at hand. I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples.’ ”

Therefore Jesus told them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always fitting.

When Jesus spoke these words, He lifted His eyes toward heaven and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may also glorify You.

Now before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that His hour had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

So they tried to seize Him, but no one laid hands on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

You go up to this feast. I am not going up to this feast yet, because My time has not yet fully come.”

Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

Daily, while I was with you in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness!”

When she had said this, she went her way and secretly called her sister Mary, saying, “The Teacher has come and is calling for you.”

While He was still speaking, some came from the house of the synagogue ruler and said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?”

“You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to be crucified.”

Nor be called teachers, for you have one Teacher, the Christ.

“But do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brothers.

If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them.’ And he will send them immediately.”

Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher).

He immediately came to Jesus and said, “Hail, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.

The disciples did as Jesus had directed them, and they prepared the Passover.
