When they received it, they grumbled against the landowner,
But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more, but each of them likewise received a denarius.

But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against His disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”
The Jews then murmured about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.”

But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy, blaspheming and contradicting what Paul was saying.
forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved. In this way they are always piling up their sins, but wrath has come upon them to the extreme.
These men are grumblers, complainers, who walk after their own lusts. Their mouths speak arrogant words, and they flatter others to gain profit.
