Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly, I say to you that it will be hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

He who trusts in his riches will wither, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf.

He also who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

strengthening the minds of the disciples and exhorting them to continue in the faith, to go through many afflictions and thus enter the kingdom of God.

For observe your calling, brothers. Among you, not many wise men according to the flesh, not many mighty men, and not many noble men were called.

But you have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you and drag you before the judgment seats?
