Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
Bear with one another and forgive one another. If anyone has a quarrel against anyone, even as Christ forgave you, so you must do.
And when you stand praying, forgive if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven may also forgive you your sins.
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outbursts, and blasphemies, with all malice, be taken away from you.
If Cain will be avenged sevenfold, then truly Lamech seventy-sevenfold.”
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
He will again have compassion upon us. He will tread down our iniquities, and cast all of our sins into the depths of the sea.
