“Behold, My Servant, whom I have chosen, My Beloved, in whom My soul is well pleased; I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He will render judgment to the Gentiles.

Behold My servant, whom I uphold, My chosen one, in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth justice to the nations.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without measure to Him.

Coming to Him as to a living stone who is rejected by men, but chosen by God and precious,

Behold, My servant shall deal prudently; he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

For He received honor and glory from God the Father when a voice came to Him from the majestic glory, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of His dear Son,

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

to the praise of the glory of His grace which He graciously bestowed on us in the Beloved.

When they arrived and had assembled the church, they reported what God had done through them and how He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

When they heard these things, they were silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then God has granted to the Gentiles also repentance unto life.”

The people stood by watching. But the rulers with them scoffed, saying, “He saved others. Let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the Chosen One of God.”

Then a voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Listen to Him.”

and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form like a dove on Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son. In You I am well pleased.”

Then a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Listen to Him.”

And a voice came from heaven, saying, “You are My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.”

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him.”

“Hear this, O Joshua the high priest, you and your friends sitting before you, for these men are a sign: Behold, I will bring My servant, the Branch.

O  Lord, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations will come to You from the remote parts of the earth, and will say: Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things in which there is no profit.

The nations shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. And you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

He shall see of the anguish of his soul and be satisfied. By his knowledge My righteous servant shall justify the many, for he shall bear their iniquities.

Long ago You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.

to fulfill what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
