The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh returned like the flesh of a little boy, and he was clean.

When the king of Israel had read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, “Am I God, to kill and to give life, that this man sends a man to me to take away his leprosy? But consider, and see how he is seeking a quarrel with me.”

The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.

The meek will eat and be satisfied; those who seek Him will praise the Lord. May your hearts live forever.

The Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who made the mute, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?

And on that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and darkness.

The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Bring forth the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.

For My hand made all those things, thus all those things have come to be, says the Lord. But to this man I will look, even to him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at My word.

So I shepherded the flock that was for slaughter, even the afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs. One I called Favor and the other I gave the name Union. So I pastured the flock.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Jesus answered them, “Go and tell John what you hear and see:

Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was restored whole like the other.

The blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

And their eyes were opened, and Jesus strictly commanded them, saying, “See that no one knows of it.”

They were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the foul spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and enter him no more.”

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;

Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you did not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name bear witness of Me.

But if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”

Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did.

He came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

“I have greater testimony than that of John. The works which the Father has given Me to finish, the very works that I do, bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.

and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). So he went away and washed, and returned seeing.

“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth was a man attested to you by God with powerful works and wonders and signs, which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves know.

Listen, my beloved brothers. Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He has promised to those who love Him?
