In the passing of time, the king of Egypt died. And the Israelites sighed because of the bondage, and they cried out, and their cry came up to God on account of the bondage.

He was despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from him; he was despised, and we did not esteem him.

Then Jesus, moved with compassion, extended His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I will. Be clean.”

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which means, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

He took the girl by the hand and said to her, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.”

When He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them. And He divided the two fish among them all.

Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosened, and he spoke correctly.

He sighed deeply in His spirit and said, “Why does this generation look for a sign? Truly I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation.”

Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has saved you.”

When He came near, He beheld the city and wept over it,

Then He came and touched the coffin, and those who carried it stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.”

When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.

Then Jesus, again groaning within Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone was lying against it.

So they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

When He had said this, He cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”

When Jesus spoke these words, He lifted His eyes toward heaven and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may also glorify You.

Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Rise up and make your bed.” And immediately he rose up.

Peter put them all outside and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who was in every sense tempted like we are, yet without sin.
