He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. About the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea and would have passed by them.

And in the morning watch the Lord looked down on the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud and threw the camp of the Egyptians into confusion.

But know this, that if the owner of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not have let his house be broken into.

When evening came, the boat was in the midst of the sea. And He was alone on the land.

But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out.

“Watch therefore—for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, in the evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrow, or in the morning—
