When his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse and laid it in a tomb.

So they buried him in the City of David with the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God and His house.

His disciples came and took up the body and buried it. And they went and told Jesus.

and brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl. And the girl gave it to her mother.

The apostles met with Jesus and told him everything, both what they had done and what they had taught.

Devout men carried Stephen to his burial and made great lamentation over him.
