They gave Him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, but He did not take it.

they gave Him sour wine mingled with gall to drink. But when He tasted it, He would not drink it.

And the soldiers also mocked Him, coming to Him and offering Him sour wine,

For I tell you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”

Truly I say to you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

The disciples did as Jesus had directed them, and they prepared the Passover.

They also gave me poison in my food, and for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
