The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
You shall not defraud your neighbor or rob him. The wages of him who is hired shall not stay with you all night until the morning.
You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
Therefore, everything you would like men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
The scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, that there is one God and there is no other but Him.
He answered, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
For the entire law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
We have this commandment from Him: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
