Jesus said to them, “I will also ask of you one question. Answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Jesus answered them, “I also will ask you one question. If you tell Me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Behold, My servant shall deal prudently; he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

and said, “By what authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this authority to do them?”

Was the baptism of John from heaven or from men? Answer Me.”
