For a priest’s lips should preserve knowledge, and people should seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of Hosts.

Uriah the priest built an altar according to all that King Ahaz had sent from Damascus. Thus Uriah the priest worked until King Ahaz came from Damascus.

Her priests have violated My law and have profaned My holy things. They have made no distinction between the holy and profane, nor have they shown the difference between the unclean and the clean, and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumor shall be upon rumor. Then they shall seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.

“The wise among the people shall instruct many. Yet for many days they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by destruction.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you from being My priest. And because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.

And so you may teach the Israelites all the statutes that the Lord has spoken to them by the hand of Moses.

Her prophets are reckless, treacherous men; her priests have profaned the sanctuary and done violence to the law.

Then Haggai, the messenger of the Lord, spoke the message of the Lord to the people, saying: I am with you, says the Lord.

Truly, truly I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me. And he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As My Father has sent Me, even so I send you.”

She followed Paul and us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.”

So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us. We implore you in Christ’s stead: Be reconciled to God.

Therefore he that despises does not despise man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.

Therefore the sin of the young men was very great before the Lord. For the men treated the offering of the Lord with contempt.
