The altar of wood was three cubits high, and its length two cubits. And its corners and its length and its walls were of wood. And he said to me, “This is the table that is before the Lord.”
No grain offering that you bring to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for you shall not burn leaven, nor any honey as a food offering by fire to the Lord.
They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God, for they offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and the food of their God. Therefore they shall be holy.
You also say, “What a weariness it is,” and you snort at it, says the Lord of Hosts. You bring in what is stolen, the lame, or the sick; thus you bring an offering! Should I accept this from your hand? says the Lord.
When you offer the blind as a sacrifice, is it not evil? When you offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? Offer it now to your governor! Would he be pleased with you, or accept you? says the Lord of Hosts.
